AIMS K-8 has been a vital part of Oakland’s educational landscape for over 20 years, empowering students and fostering a strong sense of community. The school has consistently provided a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving environment, offering opportunities for all students to excel. AIMS is committed to equity and accessibility, ensuring every student has the resources they need to succeed. Its inclusive governance model gives a voice to students, families, and staff alike.
Renew AIPCS II, a high-tier school recognized by the California Department of Education, ranking in the top 3% of public schools in California and celebrated for its dedication to serving typically underserved students. The school has made significant improvements and remains focused on continuous progress, ensuring that it continues to meet the needs of its diverse and dynamic community.
As an alumnus of AIPCS II and a current member of the AIMS Communications Department, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the profound growth and positive impact this school has had on students and the community.
AIPCS II has consistently demonstrated its commitment to providing a high-quality education that prepares students not just to graduate but to excel in college and beyond. Over the years, I’ve seen the school refine its programs, invest in student success, and create a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Renewing AIPCS II’s charter means continuing to give students access to rigorous academics, dedicated teachers, and a pathway to higher education. This school is more than just a place of learning—it’s a transformative force in students’ lives, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
I urge OUSD to renew AIPCS II’s charter and support the important work being done to uplift and empower our students.
