i continue to ask for updates relating to the save our future resolution, calling for district wide music thru prop 28 funding. needing clarification based on the budget spreadsheet for music and arts, w/school sites. as the district faces a 95 million dollar deficit, it's critical not to cut any of the prop 28 funding to support music and arts. our most vulnerable rely on this ongoing funding source, we ask the board to pls move forward with the resolution, the respectable language w/reinforcing respect, that part doesn't cost the district any money. please take action to avoid further harm and make the changes now. as my son is living proof of how the lack of a safe place harms our children, please urgently take action now and reach deep down in your heart to help protect our children from further trauma. please give them these specialize ongoing services for the opportunity to gain skills in other areas through music, thanks so much.

    `sincerely,
    sheila
