L.-96 24-2885 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2024-2025 by and between the District and Safe Passages, Oakland, CA, for the latter to support family engagement and provide technical assistance to staff and resources to parents, focusing on behavioral health and well-being, including organizing a workshop series where parents learn about different resources that respond to their needs, receive guidance on how to navigate various systems (social services, medical, CalWORKs/ CalFresh, Financial Aid), and spaces that celebrate cultural diversity including organizing four (4) cultural events where families can rebuild, reconnect with the community (their own and the more extensive community) as immigrants at Oakland International High School, for the period of December 1, 2024, through May 26, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $1,730.00.
