T.-132 23-2888 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2023-2024 by and between the District and Moira De Nike, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide Project Management District and City wide Safety Planning, as described in the Agreement's Scope of Work - City Safety Planning: Project Management, Charter & Labor Working Group, Monthly Safety Communications and Alignment of District Safety Planning Efforts; Working Timeline of Key Deliverables, as described, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via the Office of the Chief of Staff, for the period of December 11, 2023 through June 30, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
I strongly support confirming the OUSD calendar earlier in the year for OUSD families and staff alike.
I also believe that moving from the second week of August to the first has caused significant stress on families since the OUSD schedule is so different from neighboring cities, making schedules and finding camps/care during summer near impossible for the last week of May. Please push back the start date!
