Hello, I am a supporter of McClymonds High School and would like to share with the Board and public highlights from my experience. First, I’d like to express my gratitude for the leadership of Mr. Taylor. Principal Taylor’s commitment to McClymonds is demonstrated in everything he does and I believe we are lucky to have him as the leader of our school. Secondly, I want to make clear the importance of a caring school climate and culture. As a pillar in the West Oakland community, McClymonds is filled with joyful staff, students, and alumni.The love and support we receive from the McClymonds community makes this school a special place to attend. It's also the reason why so many alumni decide to return to volunteer, and support our school in so many unique and impactful ways. Finally, our school benefits from a rich offering of academic and extracurricular programs, including our engineering pathways, college and career counseling services and our competitive women and men’s sports teams.
