V.-2 22-0547 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Bay Area Transport Services, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide School Pupil Activity Bus Transportation Services with Seat Belts ("Services") for OUSD students for Oakland Athletic League ("OAL") athletic events and field trips, for the period of August 9, 2021 through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $850,000.00.
Why are all of these contracts backdated to August? I thought you had abandoned this practice. As to the 7 separate contracts ranging from 150,000 to 850,000, how does this interface if at all with the $11.5 million per year Zum contract executed last year? And looking at these numbers, what in the world makes you think you will ever successfully provide transportation to families at schools you are closing as both Directors Yee and Davis have vaguely promised to do?
