V.-22 21-2010 Approval by the Board of Education of a Data Sharing Agreement 2021-2022 by and between District and The Oakland REACH, authorizing District to share data with the latter for it to complete "Responsibilities of REACH" as specified in the Memorandum of Understanding between District and The Oakland Reach effective the 2021-22 school year", for the period of July 19, 2021 through June 30, 2022, at no cost to the District.
All Oakland students deserve a quality experience this year. Oakland REACH has been doing great things for kids and families during the pandemic and our district is lucky to be scaling their work to positively impact more of our kiddos!

Oakland students deserve a quality distance learning program. Oakland REACH has a proven history of getting it done. They should be supported by the district in every way possible to provide quality programing to Oakland students.
Families who have chosen distance learning for this school year should be offered the best possible educational environment for their children. One of the shining examples of success last year for families of children learning remote all year was Oakland REACH's Hub. I urge the board to ratify the agreement between the district and Oakland REACH that would give every family in remote learning access to an Equity Family Leader/Family Liaison. It is so important for families and students not physically attending a school to have this level of engagement and outreach, and REACH can provide that. Thank you.
