M.-1 21-0497 Adoption by the Board of Education of the 2021-2022 District Budget Reduction Options and Bridge Plan, and authorizing Plan's inclusion along with a coinciding Resolution (to be determined), prescribed by the Alameda County Office of Education, into the District's 2020-21 Second Interim Report.
I support the bridge plan for funding for the 21-22 school year. I recommend an even broader analysis of the structure of OUSD to search for the most effective areas for spending and the most effective areas for cost avoidance. I also ask that any resolution for the following year use the language of Budget Solutions and not the language of Budget Reductions.
