I am a mother of five children who all attend AIMS. I am also a staff member at AIMS. I support the AIMS charter renewal. The AIMS district works well for our children and they are thriving academically. Here they have had great opportunities, they receive a good education, and they love the close-knit family feel. My family is African-American and Latino and we love the diversity at AIMS among the students, families, and staff. We like how they are able to be in a good and safe environment where they can enjoy learning. Our daughter loves the musical theatre programs, the children are learning languages and band, and they are on the honor roll. Please renew our AIMS charter.

I am a mother of 5 and 4 of my children have been enrolled in this school. First off let me start by saying that my children have had numerous issues when it come to racism at the middle school location and the school is extremely biased when it comes to African American students. When you look up AIMS online most of the comments are addressing the racism and bullying that goes in because AIMS sweeps a lot under the rug. If chosen to renewal my only request would be that they actually hire people that are neutral and there for the kids not for a credit on their resumes
