E.-1 19-1588 Joint discussion by the Audit Committee and/or the Budget and Finance Committee with District staff regarding the current status of the District's Self-Insurance Program including but not limited to issues, plans for resolution, adequate funding.
I hope that this presentation will include (and that committee members will follow up on) answers to questions involving: why is there salary budgeted out of Fund 67 and whose salary is paid from this fund? What services has Segal & Company (paid approximately 1.25 million dollars over five years) rendered to the district? If there is a recommendation for the Fund 67 starting balance to be increased for 2020-21, what is that based on, with specific regard to claims settled and pending?
