OUSD needs to support and appropriately resource our district schools. We do not need more charters when the current ones operating are draining students to the tune of $57million a year. The community urges the Board to vote YES to adopt this resolution to pause the expansion of charters at least until their impact is fully understood.
Oakland Unified School District does not need any more Charter Schools. I oppose this Adoption. Use this money to keep the 24 neighborhood schools open.
