I have witnessed the amazing benefits of participation in athletics on behalf of students. Athletes are more enthusiastic about attending school, they put more effort into their grades because they want to perform on the field/court. I urge the Committee/Board to work closely with OAL staff to ensure an accurate budget geared towards fully funding ALL sports teams, and review contracts/determine efficiencies so student athletes don't end up being on the losing end. Thank you.
