16-2739 Approval by the Board of Education of Kipp Bay Area Schools - Kipp Bridge Charter School - Petition and Charter (Renewal) - Grades TK-8, for the term July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022.
The documents submitted by KIPP Bay Area Schools do not accurately represent the state of this school. Last year, all but 3 teachers quit. I worked at Bridge for 3 years and during my time there I witnessed: admitting students at the wrong grade levels to fill enrollment numbers, Ms. Jackson taking and hiding staff's personal property, violation of whistleblower rights, parent complaints being dismissed by principal/Home Office. School needs oversight. Complaints/suspension numbers are false.
